New Phishing Scam Targets Verizon Online Customers |

Verizon Online has been made aware of a new phishing scam targeting Verizon customers. This scam attempts to lure customers to a fraudulent web site to input personal information and/or download virus infected programs. If you receive an e-mail similar to the following example, do not respond or click any links. Please delete it immediately. Verizon will never ask for personal or account information in email.
Please note the content of the message may very slightly.
Do not open any attachment, or provide any data, to the web site contained within this report.
