How can I add administrator privileges if I'm using Windows NT, XP, or 2000?
To add administrator privileges to your user name: [Show Me How]- Select Add.
- Verify that "Groups" is displayed in the Select this object type field.
- Verify that the name assigned to your computer displays in the From this location field.
- Enter Administrators in the Enter object names to select field and click Check Names.
- If "Administrators" displays in the Enter object names to select field, click OK. If "Administrators" doesn't display, try entering, "Administrator."
