GAFFNEY, S.C. - Terrified residents canceled Fourth of July plans and holed up in their homes Friday as investigators hunted a serial killer believed to have shot four people to death.
"I love them all. I'm a workaholic. When I was younger, I said, 'You can't hit a home run unless you get up to bat.' I took everything. That's the way I learned. If I waited for the right part, I'd still be sitting here."
